Our Home: Before & After

Hi Everyone! On this page I will be sharing before and after photos of rooms that we have renovated. I will continue to add to this page as we complete more projects in our home. 

First up is our Master Bedroom. It is the first room that we renovated from ceiling to floor. You can see more details on this renovation here. This renovation took about one month to complete with lots of help from our carpenter, electrician and good old-fashioned elbow grease thrown in by numerous people. 

Completing this room was truly so rewarding for me. I spend a lot of time in this bedroom and I just love the calming feeling that I feel when I walk into it now. What's even more rewarding is knowing the money we saved from our DIY projects that went into this room. The wall stencil project saved us a few hundred dollars since we decided to forgo wallpaper for the accent wall. The stencil only cost about $50! Also, our end table revamp saved us another chunk of change considering the end tables that were left in the house are solid wood (expensive to purchase here). After a few coats of paint and some cleaning on the brass plates and knobs we were able to work them into our room perfectly.
